Summer School Supervisor (Middle School)
Substitute Teachers - Substitute teacher pay is $85.00 per day. If you are interested in substituting teaching please contact the Bureau, Henry, Stark Regional Office of Education. Their phone number is: 309-936-7890 and their fax number is: 309-936-1111. Their address is: 107 South State Street, Atkinson, IL 61235. You will need to complete the following forms through their office: Mandated Reporter, Physical, TB test, and fingerprinting. You will also need to register your teaching certificate through their office. Once you have completed these items the Regional Office will present you with a Substitute Teacher Authorization Letter. Next please bring your Substitute Teacher Authorization Letter from the Regional Office to the Orion Administration Office (1002 11th Avenue, Orion, IL 61273). You will also need to complete the following forms in our office: State and Federal W4s and the I9 form. Your name and phone number will be added to the district's substitute teacher list once you have completed this process.
Substitute Cooks Needed - Orion Community Unit School District has openings for substitute cooks. Substitute cook pay is $8.73 per hour. If interested, please contact the Administration Office (309-526-3388).
Substitute Bus Drivers Needed – Orion Community Unit School District has openings for substitute bus drivers. Pay is $28.05 per regular run. Buses have automatic transmissions and training is available. If interested, please apply to Bryan Johnson (309-526-3382) at the Bus Garage, 901 15th Avenue, Orion, Illinois.
