Our second grade students had an assembly with Native American Rudy Vallejo. Mr. Vallejo shared a lot of great information about the Native American community. The children were able to see artifacts and perform some Native American dancing.
Congratulations to Mrs. Welborn's Fourth Grade Class for winning the Reflex 4th grade Green Light Challenge. The class earned an ice cream party.

Breakfast is a great way to start your morning! This morning, we received a HUGE donation to our Cereal Box Challenge. 1, 145 boxes of cereal were donated to the OHS Student Hunger Drive to support the River Bend Food Bank. CRH would like to THANK the donors for all the donations! Don't forget the last day to donate is Monday, November, 4, 2024.
Mrs. Taylor's Third Grade class did an AMAZING job during a Readers' Theater activity today. They performed two fables with great enthusiasm.
Get ready for some fun this week! This Friday, we will be celebrating Camo Day at CR Hanna! We encourage all students and staff to show their school spirit by wearing their favorite camouflage gear. Let’s see who can blend in the best!

Celebrating Homecoming Week 70s style with Hippie Day!
CR Hanna will be hosting Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 17, 2024, and Friday, October 18, 2024. Conferences on Thursday will be from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The 15-minute conferences are "first-come-first-served” so please sign up early.
We will be closing the sign ups on Friday, October 11, 2024.

The Orion Lions Club came to CRH with a very special guest to hand out dictionaries to our Third Grade students . The students learned that the world's longest word is made up of 1,909 letters. THANK YOU ORION LIONS CLUB for the generous gift!
Kindergarten Farm Night 2024!
The students had a great time participating in our annual Farm Night. We would like to thank all of the volunteers including the Orion FFA for bringing in thier farm animals and machinery. A great time was had by everyone!
Lions, Tigers, and Stuffed Bears....OH MY!!!! The halls of CRH were a little "wild" this morning with our Annual Kindergarten Teddy Bear Parade.
BREAKING NEWS! The 2023-2024 CR Hanna Yearbook sponsored by the Orion PTA has FINALLY arrived. The books were distributed to classrooms this morning and will be sent home TODAY. If you did not receive one or have any questions, please email the PTA at ptaorion@gmail.com .
"UNLEASH YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT!" CR Hanna will have several fun School Spirit Days throughout this school year. The FIRST one will be one week from this Friday. The theme will be JERSEY DAY! Students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite team's jersey.
