Hello Orion Community Members and Families!
The 2024-2025 school year has begun and the PTA plans to try and make this our best year yet! My name is Brooklyn Denney, and I will be your PTA president. I will be leading the PTA along with my treasured sidekick Sara Allie, as our PTA treasurer! I currently have two children attending the Orion school district, my daughter, Scarlett is in 4th grade and my son Brantley is in 6th grade! Sara’s oldest son, Walker is in the 1st grade and her youngest, Weston, attends preschool at Charger Child Care.
Sara and I are both new to officer roles with the PTA! We are excited to begin this adventure with all of you. We intend to have a student-focused organization, we want to ensure we are working to focus all efforts in our administration to help our students grow and enjoy their school year!
We want to continue PTA events that have taken place in the past such as, Grandparent’s Social, Family Skate night, and Paint Night. We would also like to introduce some new events such as a family STEM night that was suggested by a previous PTA officer! We are also open to any new suggestions that parents and teachers may have! Please consider attending our PTA meetings. We have tried to plan these meetings for the last Tuesday of every month unless there is a school conflict! Also follow us on Facebook for additional information as we intend to keep the page up to date with all events.
We welcome all new and returning PTA members to get involved! The success of the PTA truly depends on the assistance we receive from parents, school staff, and other community members. We would love for you to join us in volunteering to help make the school year the best it can be for all Orion School District students!
